Let customers speak for us
from 3 reviewsI got Between the Sheets just when the chandler announced that the scent will be discontinued. With a heavy heart, there was nothing for me to do but accept my finite time together with the candle. When Psyche Candles went on a long hiatus without any word of return, I thought it was the final nail to the coffin. Overjoyed is an understatement of what I felt when it was announced that Between the Sheets will be making a comeback and, more so, as a part of the signature line. As we are thrust into the post-pandemic world that’s busier than ever, there is no better time for Between the Sheets’ comeback. Its soft, aromatic fragrance is restfulness in candle form. Boasting no therapeutic claims, this feel-good candle once again has made my life and well-being significantly better.
Sleepyhead, as a bedtime candle, is astonishing in how contemporary it smells. Familiar lavender with soft florals and musks, its clean smelling fragrance soothes the nerves, lulling on to sleep. And it’s true, I have been able to sleep better since I had this candle. A big fan of vetiver, it coherently transitions my days from late afternoons and evenings filled with Sleepyheads to next-day early mornings scented by Between the Sheets.
There had been different iterations of Japan’s icon sites in candle form. Lucky to have been graced again by Kyoto at Six, I now understand better why the debut line is revered among candle enjoyers. Fragrant guaiac wood bathed in the freshness of bergamot and water lily evokes ancient wood damp from rain — timeless beauty amidst the contemporary. Indeed, this candle is best enjoyed with warmers, respecting the fragrance’s gentleness and subtlety.
